Each pupil is provided with their own science kits to keep and carry out a range of experiments during each of the five lessons over the course of the week.

£95 for five one-hour lessons, Monday to Friday (laboratory kits included).

Review of relevant curriculum for year to date. Honed to pupil’s individual abilities we will identify areas needing work and, in turn, look to secure deeper understanding for those working at higher levels.

Maths Blast

One and multi-step word-based questions aimed at developing a deeper understanding across a range of topics within the curriculum.

Questions are age/ability-based ranging from Year 1 to Year 6 – group sizes no larger than 15.

£60 for five one-hour lessons, Monday to Friday.

  • Maths Blast (08:45hrs)

    Ability-based problem solving and reasoning. This has a greater focus on word type questions and is aimed at stretching higher ability children and developing foundation techniques for all abilities.

  • Maths Curriculum Catch-up (10:00hrs)

    Revisiting the topics covered under the national curriculum in the preceding half term.

    This session is again geared towards all abilities, as it will strengthen and build understanding for those children who need more time and affords the ability to stretch and add greater depth to those children working above the age expected standard.

  • English Comprehension (11:15hrs)

    Chance to hone this key skill in information understanding using both fiction and non-fiction texts.

  • Science Club (12:30hrs)

    Five home-based lessons of experiments to inspire and delight children. A chance to gain a practical understanding of science and its application, geared at building their interest and desire to learn.

    With investigations ranging from windbags to demonstrate Bernoulli’s principle to 5 layer density demonstrations, the simple aim of this is to wow your child! Included in the price is a laboratory box that will be sent out prior to the start of the course, containing all the apparatus and materials needed for the week.
